Mark Dangelo currently serves as an independent innovation practitioner and advisor to private equity and VC funded firms developing data meshes/fabrics, stacked/ensemble AI, MAD data sciences, ethical data governance, and decentralized finance.
Mark has led diverse restructurings, MAD, and transformations in more than 20 countries advising hundreds of firms ranging from Fortune 50 companies to startups. Currently, Mark is innovating the next generation mergers, acquisitions, and divestures (MAD) using advanced data sciences, ML, AI, and digital twin solutions.
As a business science leader and digital professional, Mark started his career as a computer scientist and innovator. He has worked globally advising hundreds of companies across the Fortune 50 to the Russell 3000 as well as privately owned enterprises, investment bankers, and private equity. His views on innovation, strategy, and M&A are a direct result of his years of practical experiences. He has worked in over 20 countries.
He is also the Associate Director for Industry Engagement with xLab at Case Western Reserve University and an adjunct professor, the author of five books on M&A and transformative innovation, and a 20-year columnist for the national Mortgage Bankers Association out of Washington, D.C.
